Some things….

1) I love the girls I babysit for. And their mom. I feel lucky to spend time with them. The other day I took Lulu to Central Park, as I usually do, and she said the sweetest and strangest things.

“This rock is the cutest rock.”

“Look! This leaf is the changiest leaf.” (I had pointed out that the leaves would change colors soon.)

“I am bigger than that dog.”

“I would throw it so high it would go into a bush and then run into an airplane.” (Explaining what would happen if she got her hands on frisbee some dudes were playing with in the park.)

Yeah…she’s amazing.

2) Just had dinner with my friend Brit, otherwise known as the original Tran. It was great. Pesto pizza, too much red wine, maybe some tears (whaaaaat), plans to city hop together. She is fierce and I love her. Brit has so much enthusiasm for life, and I love being around an energy like hers. Wow, I sound like I’ve been reading too much Eckhart Tolle. Which is true. Last night, I read the first two chapters of “A New Earth”, and then couldn’t get to sleep for an hour-and-a-half. Soooo not living in the power of Now with that situation. I really was mad at myself for so much tossing and turning post-self help zen be in the moment reading, but sometimes that’s who the cookie crumbles. Mmmm COOOOKIES.

3) Heard the song below in a restaurant tonight and thought of how much I love my ginger boyfriend. Maybe I texted him that. Maybe I was a tad drunk, but….a) I miss him, and b) I’m turning into a huge loser. The two go hand in hand. Did I mention I miss him?

4) I have a huge girl crush on Diane Kruger. The fact that she dates Pacey makes me love her more.
